Dear all,

We cordially invite you to participate in The 11th International Conference on Quality in Research (QiR) 2009, which will be held in the University of Indonesia on 3-6 August 2009. QiR 2009 will bring together national and international frontline thinkers, researchers, academics, executive, government and business officials, practitioners, students and leaders to present and discuss a wide range engineering and architectural issues in the achievement of products, projects and services. It is our aim and hope that this conference would be able to provide an international forum for exchange the knowledge, experience and research as well as review of progress and discussion on the state of the art and future trend and prospective collaboration and networking in the fields.

The Conference will cover Special Issues on:

1. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as a Bridge between Computing and Telecommunication
2. Green Infrastructure for Sustainable Development

   and Symposiums on:

4. Energy Conservation through Efficiency in Design and Manufacturing

6. Industrial Engineering Approach for Productivity Improvement

Please submit your abstract of not exceeding 500 words, which must include title of paper, author(s) and affiliation, brief information on background, research method and results, and five keywords. Figures may be included in the abstract.

Abstract submission is available through the conference website http://qir.eng.ui.ac.id and the new due date is: 15 April 2009.

Abstracts and papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceeding (ISSN: 114-1284). Selected papers will be published in the Value World (published by SAVE International) or Journal of Technology (published by the Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia, ISSN 0215 - 1685) or Jurnal Makara seri Teknologi (ISSN. 1693-6698).

Six leading professors which are well known for their track record in the area of science and engineering have confirmed to give plenary lectures in the conference:
